The VpCI® Super Penetrant by Cortec® is a revolutionary product designed to effectively penetrate and loosen parts immobilized by up to 1/2 inch (13 mm) of rust within just 30 minutes. This deep penetrating formulation is versatile in application, suitable for methods such as brushing, hand pump spraying, aerosol, spray application, or dipping, making it adaptable to various needs.

VpCI® Super Penetrant excels in displacing moisture and water, even penetrating the moisture layer that commonly forms on metal surfaces under atmospheric conditions. As it breaks through the rust, it not only loosens frozen parts but also lubricates the metal, facilitating smooth movement. The patented Cortec® VpCI® technology forms a protective ultra-thin film on metal surfaces, offering up to 6 months of corrosion protection in harsh conditions.

Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, the VpCI® Super Penetrant demonstrates exceptional water-displacing characteristics, making it perfect for equipment and components exposed to the elements. It meets the Federal Specifications for VV-P-216 Penetrating Oil for Loosening Frozen Metallic Parts and conforms to the ASTM D-971 Test for Interfacial Tension of Oil against Water.
