High Temperature Coatings Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) & SP0198

Tech Talk with Trevor Newell, High Temperature Coatings Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) & SP0198. Trevor is an AMPP Certified Senior Coating Inspector with over 30 years of industry knowledge and experience!

What are high temperature coatings
High temperature coatings are generally coatings above 120°C or 250°F. Coatings above this need to be inorganic to be able to react with the high temperature and soft corrosion protection. High temperature coatings can by categorized by temperature requirements, exposure, and/or application requirements (OEM, Maintenance, Hot Apply, Dry-Fall, Brush & Roll)
