THE PROBLEM
Our client needed to renovate their heat exchanger room floor. After removing several blocks of concrete to install new piping and machinery, they required the entire floor to be recoated. The primary goals were to enhance the room’s aesthetics and add grit to the flooring to prevent slips and falls.
THE SUBSTRATE
Concrete: The floor consisted of a concrete substrate that required repair and recoating to meet the client’s needs.

- Surface Preparation:

- The floor was thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed to remove any dust and debris.
- Concrete Repair:

- Primer Application:

- According to the client’s specifications, USI White Aluminum Oxide was mixed into the epoxy coating to create a slip-free environment, ensuring safety in the heat exchanger room.
