Denso Protal 3200CF is a high-strength, bi-axial carbon fiber/epoxy wet-layup composite repair system that restores or enhances the structural integrity of steel pipelines and associated components, including straight pipe, elbows, tees, reducers, welds and other complex geometries. Repairs are installed to a Denso Engineered Composite Repair (ECR) design developed per ASME PCC-2 Article 4.1.

Denso Protal 3200CF Carbon Fiber/Epoxy Wet-Layup Composite Repair System
Denso Protal 3200CF is an engineered composite repair system built for maximum structural performance. A high-modulus epoxy filler rebuilds the pipe surface, Protal 7200 high-build epoxy provides corrosion protection and a bonding surface, and dry bi-axial carbon fiber fabric is saturated in the field with Protal 3220 epoxy to form the structural laminate. The wet-layup format makes it well suited to straight pipe as well as elbows, tees, reducers, welds and other non-standard geometries.
Every repair is installed to a Denso Engineered Composite Repair (ECR) design developed per ASME PCC-2 Article 4.1, which sets the laminate thickness, layer count, wrap orientation and repair length for the pipeline’s operating conditions and defect data. Surface preparation and installation must be performed by personnel trained and certified by Denso.

- Protal 3200CF Wrap – Dry bi-axial carbon fiber fabric, saturated in the field with Protal 3220 two-part epoxy saturant
