ViscoMastic is a high-performance, visco-elastic semi-solid polyolefin mastic engineered for long-term corrosion prevention and waterproofing of underground and aboveground substrates. As part of the Viscotaq coating system, ViscoMastic is designed to pair seamlessly with ViscoWrap ST, HT, or Viscotaq EZ Wrap for a comprehensive barrier system that resists moisture, gas ingress, and aggressive soil conditions.

Its amorphous and apolar composition gives ViscoMastic permanent adhesion to steel, PVC, concrete, metal, wood, and vinyl substrates—without the need for primers or extensive surface prep. With outstanding conformability, the mastic easily molds to complex shapes, making it ideal for field repairs, odd-shaped fittings, and girth welds.

ViscoMastic requires only minimal surface preparation (SP2 – wire brush), making it fast and easy to install with no mixing, curing, or cleanup. Once applied, it provides an instant, self-healing, and durable protective seal that stands up to freezing conditions, UV exposure, acids, salts, and more.
